UA Baja went up to Phoenix for the College of Engineering's Annual recruiting trip, this Saturday. These informational sessions are geared towards getting high school students interested in both engineering and school at the U of A. It also shows them what some of the many fun clubs and activities there are. UA Baja brought both the 2009 and 2008 vehicles were on display.
On Friday UA Baja was invited to give presentations and demos to middle school students at Amphi Middle School in Tucson. We were invited to the school to get the students interested in science and engineering and to show them how much fun it can be. Inside we had a projector playing our most recent videos and we also had the current progress of the 2010 vehicle on display. Outside we had our verbal presentation to the groups of students which was accompanied by a driver demo. |
