Multicultural Engineering ProgramThe Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP) is a significant component of the College's education effort. Its mission is to assist in providing a distinguished engineering education to students from underrepresented groups. Introducing the MEPThe primary goal of the MEP is to provide a solid academic and social support infrastructure to ensure students' success until they graduate with the highest levels of academic excellence. The MEP also helps students develop personally and professionally so they are better prepared when they enter the professional workforce. To maintain the focus of being degree specific and career oriented, there is a strong effort to develop a supportive community of students, staff and faculty. Services provided:
To encourage student participation in campus life, the MEP has partnerships with student cultural centers and preprofessional clubs. The MEP also acts as a liaison with various departments. LocationThe MEP office is in the Engineering Building, room 200. The office offers students many valuable resources to be a successful engineering student. Also a part of MEP is the Motorola Multicultural Center, which provices a quiet place to study between classes, meet for lunch and socialize, and much more. Information for Graduate Students
