Atlas CenterThe ATLAS Center serves to promote research and education in transportation engineering and planning at the University of Arizona. ATLAS stands for Advanced Transportation and Logistics Algorithms and Systems, reflecting the primary focus of the center. Specifically, the mission of the ATLAS Center is to promote and conduct basic research on advanced technologies and methods for transportation and logistics management. To this end, research in the ATLAS Center is developing new technologies, algorithms and software to improve transportation management. The ATLAS Center also assists in the implementation of this research and delivers education and technology transfer activities that advance the state-of-the-practice in transportation engineering and planning. |
